Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 15, 2026
1. Introduction
Lyons Den Software ("we," "us," or "our") operates Chronicler's Codex, a creative worldbuilding application available on web, desktop, and mobile platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

- Usage analytics: Anonymized usage data such as page views, feature usage, and performance metrics collected through Vercel Web Analytics.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device type used to access the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Chronicler's Codex service.

4. AI Features and Content Processing
Chronicler's Codex includes optional AI-powered features (such as brainstorming and content suggestions). When you use these features:
- Content you submit is sent to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic) for processing.
- AI features are opt-in — your content is never sent to AI providers unless you explicitly initiate an AI interaction.
- We do not use your content to train AI models. Anthropic's API usage policy also prohibits using API inputs for model training.
- AI-generated responses are provided as creative assistance and should not be relied upon as factual.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Chronicler's Codex:
- Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery (beta notifications, account communications).
- Anthropic: AI language model API for optional creative assistance features.
- Vercel: Web hosting and anonymized analytics.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their policies.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
Chronicler's Codex uses browser local storage and cookies only for essential functionality:
- Authentication tokens: To maintain your login session.
- User preferences: To remember your application settings.
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Beta signup emails are retained until the beta period ends or you request removal. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and user content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
